Problems with the immune system, body chemistry or blood flow can result in:
  • Non-wear-and-tear arthritis, damaged joint surfaces (cartilage surface)
    • Gout, rheumatoid, lupus, psoriatic
  • Weakened and painful bone ( Avascular necrosis, ostoechondritis)
    • Scapula, glenoid, humerus bones
  • Malformation/dysplasia of the shoulder socket
  • Impingement of the rotator cuff against the acromion
  • Frozen shoulder/adhesive capsulitis
